My educational/professional background:
Anders Zimmerman, our new 5th grade teacher, earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and social behavior from the University of California, Irvine, then a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from CSU, Long Beach, and a Master of Arts in Education in Educational Administration from Concordia University, Irvine. In addition to his 9 years of teaching experience in elementary school, he was a managing partner in an indoor soccer center, including teaching and coaching. He is enthusiastic to be collaborating with Mrs. Gier as they team-teach our 5th graders and hopes to inspire his students to be curious, persevering, and to have grit.
What brings me joy is:
A cappuccino when I wake, soccer in the morning, and hanging with my family during the day.
