Clairbourn’s former Middle School building has served the community well for many decades. However, it faced significant challenges. With your help, we will replace this aged structure with a new building designed for today’s learners and tomorrow’s leaders. This building reflects our commitment to the success of every Clairbourn student and a lasting investment in the future of our school.
Former Building Challenges:
Deteriorated Infrastructure :
The former Middle School building was showing signs of wear, which was not only costly to maintain but also compromised the learning environment of our students and faculty. The roof had significant leaks, and the building was not energy efficient.
Outdated Technology:
The former classrooms lacked the technology infrastructure needed to support modern teaching methods and prepare students for an increasingly digital world.
Inadequate Facilities:
The lack of adequate facilities, including a modern science lab and outdoor learning spaces, hindered our ability to provide an even more comprehensive and enriching educational experience.
Rationale for a New Middle School Building
Enhanced Learning Environment:
A new Middle School building will create an even more conducive environment for teaching and learning. Modern classrooms, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, will ensure engagement across all subject areas.
Safety and Accessibility:
The safety of our students and staff is of paramount importance. A new building will incorporate the latest safety features and improve accessibility for all.

Clairbourn’s community is growing, and a new Middle School building is essential to accommodate that growth so all students have the ideal space to learn.

The Middle School will serve as a community hub, with space to host events, workshops, and meetings, thereby strengthening community connections and engagement.
Financial Considerations:
A fundraising campaign is a fiscally prudent decision that helps us achieve our goals and avoid unnecessary debt. Today’s investment will serve our school and community for generations to come.
