I hold a Bachelor of Science in business from the University of California, Riverside, a nursing degree from East Los Angeles College, and an Early Childhood Education Certificate from UCLA Extension. I am excited to support and nurture Clairbourn’s youngest learners as they transition into school life.

I choose to teach at Clairbourn because:
I chose to teach at Clairbourn because of the wonderful sense of community. The administrators are supportive and respectful, truly valuing and appreciating their teachers, while parents recognize the importance of partnering with educators to help their children grow. As both a teacher and a parent of two Clairbourn students, I also love the beautiful campus and the safe, welcoming environment it provides. Most importantly, Clairbourn values more than academic success; it encourages children to grow into kind, thoughtful people who lead with their hearts.

My favorite Clairbourn tradition is:
Other than our beautiful annual ginkgo leaves, I love the traditions that bring different grade levels together. Watching our eighth graders fly kites with the Pre-K class and our third graders read to the preschoolers is such a special way to build connection across the school. There are honestly too many wonderful traditions to name, but I also have to give a shoutout to the Kindergarten gingerbread man hunt and the annual chick hatching. These traditions are part of what makes Clairbourn feel like such a warm and connected community.
