What is your connection/history with the school?
I am a Clairbourn alumna, and my two daughters, Tiffany and Kimberly, both attended Clairbourn as well.

What makes you want to serve on the Board?
I’m inspired to serve on the Clairbourn Board because I’ve witnessed firsthand how the school transforms lives—not just academically, but personally. Both of my daughters flourished here, and I am especially grateful for the character development and confidence-building that Clairbourn has instilled in them.

What work, volunteer, passions, hobbies do you have that give you insight or skills that are helpful to the school?
I earned my B.S. in Finance and a Master’s in Early Childhood Education from the University of Southern California. I am a business entrepreneur with a strong legacy in family enterprise, rooted in Taiwan’s food and automotive industries—both of which are publicly listed companies and are recognized as cornerstones of Taiwan’s industrial growth. I have co-founded several businesses and bring extensive experience in global trade and manufacturing. My experience spans business development, marketing and strategic planning, and board leadership across multiple industries.

What is your favorite Clairbourn experience/memory that exemplifies our mission of Creating Scholars and Leaders with Heart?
I have two daughters who both began their academic journeys at Clairbourn. My eldest, Tiffany, was honored as Miss Asia USA 2024 and Miss Taiwanese American 2022, and is currently attending Stanford University, where she is majoring in Engineering Management with a focus on Human-Centered Design. My younger daughter, who graduated from Westridge School, is also attending Stanford.

Clairbourn played a pivotal role in shaping the confident, motivated young women they are today. One of my daughters struggled with profound shyness in her early years, and I will always be grateful for the transformative support she received at Clairbourn. Through opportunities like speaking at the morning assembly, she found the courage to express herself—a breakthrough we believed would take years, but began as early as second grade. She discovered her voice, her strengths, and a newfound sense of self-assurance with the loving and nurturing teachers and environment. That kind of impact is rare and powerful. It’s why I feel so compelled to give back to the school that gave our family so much.
