My educational/professional background:
I have been in the education field since 2007. I have a teaching credential, Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, minor in Applied Developmental Psychology, and a Master of Arts degree in Education from UCLA. I taught high school math in LAUSD for over a decade and then took a break to be at home with my two daughters. In 2021 I went back to school and earned a Lead Teacher certificate in Early Childhood Education.
I choose to work at Clairbourn because:
The wonderful community. Everyone genuinely cares about students and is excited to be here.
My favorite Clairbourn tradition is:
The annual Sugar Plum event where parents come together for holiday ornaments, shopping, and breakfast. It’s a wonderful way to begin the holiday season and bring the community together.
What brings me joy is:
I love seeing the children’s faces of wonder, excitement and learning. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family. Since my daughter started at Clairbourn in 2021, my family has fallen in love with the Clairbourn community, and I'm loving being apart of it as both a parent and teacher!
