My educational/professional background:
I have over 16 years of experience as a substitute teacher and two years as an intervention teacher with experience teaching students in TK through fifth grade. I began at Clairbourn as a substitute teacher and am thrilled to continue in a new role. I hold a California Preliminary Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and a Bachelor of Arts in Child Development from California State University, Los Angles. I earned my Master's degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University in Arizona and my CLAD (Cross-Cultural, Language, and Academic Development) certificate from the University of Phoenix. I also hold a K-8 Teaching Credential from the state of Arizona.

I choose to teach at Clairbourn because:
On my very first visit, I felt a strong sense of belonging. When I walked onto campus, both the staff and students were welcoming, friendly, caring, and kind. I still clearly remember my first day as a substitute teacher — the students kindly showed me around the campus and helped me find everything I needed. They were so helpful and sweet. Their warmth and generosity left a lasting impression on me. That experience confirmed that I wanted to be part of the Clairbourn family and community. I also fell in love with the beautiful campus and the overwhelming sense of love and support present throughout the school. 

What brings me joy is:
What brings me joy is spending time with my family and friends. I love going to Dodger games, visiting different ballparks, visiting my children since they all live in different states, going to amusement parks, listening to music, and unwinding with a good book.
