My educational/professional background:
I began my teaching career in 2011 and joined Clairbourn in 2018. I have a Masters in teaching and a BA in communications from Whitworth University in Spokane, WA. I also have a certification in Crosscultural, Language, and Academic Development from UC Riverside. I have a Clear Multiple Subject credential from California and I also have K-8 credential from Washington state.
I choose to teach at Clairbourn because:
Clairbourn is a loving and caring community of teachers, students, and parents. Every school year I am able to foster and grow life long learners. I enjoy the ability to collaborate and develop lessons and activities with my teaching partner to meet the various learning needs of our students.
My favorite Clairbourn tradition is:
I love the Book Fair because it is so much watching current and former students eager to get new books to help them grow as readers. I also love Cougar Corner and the excitement from students when they are able to get a special treat after school.
What brings me joy is:
I find joy being able to travel to new and exciting places and spending quality time with my dog.
