My educational/professional background:
I have more than 10 years of experience in education and have served as a classroom teacher since 2016. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Learning from California State University, Los Angeles, hold a California Clear Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and completed a master's degree in Curriculum Design and Instruction at Concordia University. Since joining Clairbourn School in 2021, I have been proud to contribute to a community dedicated to fostering both academic excellence and character development.

I choose to teach at Clairbourn because:
Clairbourn is a vibrant and caring community of students, parents, and faculty, and I feel grateful to be part of it. I value the strong partnerships built between families and the school, as well as the shared commitment to helping each child grow academically, socially, and emotionally. In my role in admissions, I look forward to welcoming families, getting to know their stories, and helping them discover all that Clairbourn has to offer. It is meaningful to be part of a community dedicated to developing scholars and leaders with heart, and I am honored to support that mission.

My favorite Clairbourn tradition is:
My favorite Clairbourn tradition is the daily morning assembly, where students have the opportunity to build confidence and practice public speaking in front of their peers. Each gathering fosters a positive and uplifting atmosphere, and beginning the day together with encouraging messages and music helps set a joyful and motivated tone for the school community.

What brings me joy is:
What brings me joy at school is seeing how excited students are to come to school each day and be part of the learning community. In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, as well as exploring new foods and restaurants.
