A Positive Foundation
Clairbourn’s Preschool Program is designed to encourage children’s natural love of learning in an environment where they feel comfortable, confident, and secure. Children in our preschool program are prepared to enter Kindergarten with a positive self-concept, the spirit of inquiry, and critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

STEM Studies in Action
STEM studies are introduced in the early grades at Clairbourn, with an annual early learning engineering event serving as a culmination point for their STEM project. During this special event, preschool and kindergarten students, along with their families, showcase their engineering skills. Some of the featured projects have included a Beaver Dam Build, Sailing Regatta and Parachuting Jack and the Beanstalk.
This event is one of our school's favorites, as it highlights the design thinking journey even at the earliest grades. Each display reflects their creative thinking, problem-solving abilities, and hands-on engineering skills. Families also enjoy the teachers' presentations and have the opportunity to engage in a hands-on activity with their children.
