Clairbourn School Reaches 100% in Centennial Annual Fund Campaign
Joannes Rodriguez, Director of Development & Alumni
Our Centennial Annual Fund campaign was a remarkable success. This year, Clairbourn achieved 100% participation from current families during our three-week campaign. Our community not only celebrates 100 years of educating scholars and leaders with heart, but this milestone also reflects its deep commitment and generosity. Each gift, no matter the size, made a difference in helping us achieve this incredible result.
For the first time in school history, the campaign ran as a focused three-week effort, guided by a dedicated team of 18 class captains and two campaign chairs. Their leadership, encouragement, and support united families in record time, and we are deeply grateful to each of them for their time, energy, and enthusiasm in rallying our community toward this shared goal.
Our goal each year is 100% participation from families, faculty/staff, and trustees. Reaching full participation signifies the community’s vote of confidence in Clairbourn’s mission; when every family contributes, it sends a powerful message of unity and shared belief in the school’s mission.
At Clairbourn, the Annual Fund plays a vital role in supporting the operating costs beyond what tuition covers. Like most independent schools nationwide, we rely on the generosity of our families to bridge the gap between tuition and the actual cost of educating each student. These contributions ensure that we continue to deliver an exceptional education rooted in our mission of creating scholars and leaders with heart.
The Annual Fund also supports our long-term commitment to financial sustainability and strengthens the foundation for our ongoing and future initiatives, including Clairbourn’s capital campaign for our new middle school building. Because this project is on the horizon, we intentionally kept the Annual Fund period short, helping our families focus their giving and prepare for this exciting next chapter in Clairbourn’s future.
As we celebrate this milestone year, we are filled with gratitude for the generosity, teamwork, and spirit that define Clairbourn. We honor our century-long legacy of excellence, and this accomplishment is a testament to the dedication of our families, all united in support of Clairbourn School.
