My educational/professional background:
My degree is in aquatic biology from UC Santa Barbara, and I earned my teaching credential in Foundation-Level General Science with a supplemental authorization in biological sciences through the University of Redlands. I have been teaching middle school science for over 20 years, and I have been at Clairbourn since 2020.
I choose to teach at Clairbourn because:
I value Clairbourn's small size, its intention to know every student well, and its caring and responsive administration, faculty, and staff.
My favorite Clairbourn tradition is:
My favorite Clairbourn tradition is hearing students read in Morning Assembly every day.
What brings me joy is:
I find joy in sunshine, reading, family, Dodgers baseball and the ocean!
