My educational/professional background:
I have been coaching and teaching for more than 25 years. I have been a full-time PE teacher, Middle School Coach, and Athletic Director at Clairbourn for more than 15 years. I have my undergraduate B.A. in Business Administration & Economics from Principia College. I have a Masters degree in English from Cal State Los Angeles. Additionally, I have an M.A. in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University plus an M.S. in Exercise Science from Concordia University.
I choose to teach at Clairbourn because:
Clairbourn has amazing teachers and administrators who are fun, professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and supportive. The students are hard-working, inquisitive, respectful, friendly, interesting, and fun. The entire community works together to create an atmosphere that is inspiring and heartfelt. I love coming to work each morning to be with amazing people and teaching what I love.

My favorite Clairbourn tradition is the Costa Rica Abroad for middle school students.
What brings me joy is:
I find joy in friends, music, guitar, family, games, sports, basketball, outdoor activities, challenging activities, Lakers, noticing progress in students.
