Mrs. Messler
My educational/professional background:
Before joining the administrative team, I was a teacher for 15 years (at Clairbourn since 2019), beginning my career as a Teach For America Corps Member. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Business from USC and a Master of Education degree with a focus in Educational Policy and Administration from LMU, where I completed my thesis with a focus in early childhood education. I also hold a Clear Multiple Subjects Credential (K-8), a Clear Single Subject Mathematics Credential (6-12), and an Early Childhood Administration Certificate.
I choose to teach at Clairbourn because:
I chose Clairbourn for the strong community that feels like a family. The academic program is solid and is balanced with a focus on character and emotional growth, making it a rewarding place to work.
My favorite Clairbourn tradition is:
The Spring Carnival is such a fun way to see the community come together. I love seeing the joy on the students' faces and the pride they feel for their school.
What brings me joy is:
The Clairbourn students bring me joy! I love getting to know them outside of the classroom and feel lucky to be around such an inspiring group of young people. When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time at home or going on adventures with my husband and son.
