I have been attending Clairbourn three years. I really cannot think of a better decision I could have made than to come to Clairbourn. I have developed so much as an individual, as a leader, socially, physically, and mentally.
I have been attending Clairbourn three years. I really cannot think of a better decision I could have made than to come to Clairbourn. I have developed so much as an individual, as a leader, socially, physically, and mentally.
Since sixth grade, I have grown so tremendously as a person. Socially, I have grown more than I could’ve imagined. I have made so many friends that understand me as a person and appreciate me for who I am. I have learned that it is important to respect others, respect yourself, and appreciate what the world has to offer you. I have learned that people won’t like you if you try to be anyone other than yourself, so it is important to be who you are.
Our class has an energy of support. Everyone helps one another. That is why when we have to work together, things usually work out. At Pali camp, we did a lot of team building exercises and trust exercises. For instance, we all as a class had to cross a log to the other side, without falling, with a time limit. It really allowed us to trust each other to make good decisions and come together to solve a problem.
Clairbourn is one of those places that will be there forever in spirit, always with me, no matter where my life takes me. It has been the best period in my life.
