"Importance of Ethics"
My experience at Clairbourn began in 4th grade. Moving from San Diego to Los Angeles in 2009 was a major turning point in my life. At first, it was difficult having to adjust to an unfamiliar environment. I had to start over at a brand new school with new people. I was afraid.
I had many fears and thoughts going through my mind on my way to Clairbourn for my first day such as,“What if I don’t make any friends?”, “What if I don’t fit in?”

Little did I know that there is no such thing, as not fitting in at Clairbourn. As soon as I stepped into my 4th grade class, a young girl with big brown eyes ran up and asked me how my day was going and we soon began bonding over the movie High School Musical. I had made my first friend.

Clairbourn has helped shape who I am as a young, confident woman and I want to thank the Clairbourn faculty and my fellow students for making my time here so memorable. Five very important characteristics that Clairbourn has taught me are citizenship, spirituality, honesty, respect, and responsibility. These make up Clairbourn’s Code of Ethics and are what Clairbourn students strive to live by each day. These are some of the most important values I will take with me as I head off to high school. I could not be more grateful for this experience.
