Throughout my eight years at Clairbourn, this school has become so much more than just a school to me, it is more like a second home. I came to Clairbourn in the first grade and on my first day of school, I was very nervous and excited as I walked onto campus.
Throughout my eight years at Clairbourn, this school has become so much more than just a school to me, it is more like a second home. I came to Clairbourn in the first grade and on my first day of school, I was very nervous and excited as I walked onto campus.
I remember squeezing my dad’s hand as we walked into the Morning Assembly, and being shocked as many of my new classmates came running to greet me. They made me feel welcome immediately, and by the end of the day, I felt like I was not really the “new kid” anymore.
This fall, I will be attending Maranatha High School. I will take with me the morals of the Clairbourn Code of Ethics, the Clairbourn spirit of working hard and never giving up, and will always remember to think before I speak. The teachers have prepared me well for my high school journey and I know that no matter what happens in high school, I will always remember to use critical thinking and to stay strong. I have thrived so much here, and now know who I am and what I stand for, both academically and morally. Clairbourn has helped me develop from the crazy first grade girl…to who I am today, an eighth grader who is ready to graduate and attend high school.
My Clairbourn experience wouldn’t have been so complete and profound if it hadn’t been for the support of the numerous people behind me, which consist of: my classmates, my teachers, and my family. Thank you also, administration, CFA, and maintenance for keeping this school so beautiful and creating this nurturing, safe environment I have grown up in.
