My educational/professional background:
I hold a Master of Arts in Teaching from USC with experience working in LAUSD with kindergarteners and fourth graders while integrating STEAM principles into the classroom. I completed my undergraduate studies at Chapman University where I focused on Integrated Educational Studies. I also have a background as a Jungle Cruise Skipper at Disneyland, honing my storytelling skills and ability to engage guests from around the world. I have been teaching at Clairbourn since 2023.
I choose to teach at Clairbourn because:
Clairbourn's commitment to cultivating academic and social growth in students aligns with my values. The school's emphasis on character development and the values of honesty, respect, responsibility, spirituality, and citizenship I believe are vital in nurturing students.
My favorite Clairbourn tradition is:
I enjoy attending the morning assembly each morning. I think that it is a great opportunity to bring the school together. We learn how to be better citizens and caring members of the community through the daily message and inspiring songs.
What brings me joy is:
My favorite activity is spending quality time with my dog, Ringo. I really enjoy watching him play and seeing him have zoomies. When I am not playing with my dog, I like to visit Disneyland and travel with my family.
