High Academic Standards
Clairbourn is a school with both a high academic standard as well as a supportive and nurturing environment. That is a very hard combination to find in today’s hyper-competitive world. Equally important, Clairbourn emphasizes character, respect for one another, and responsibility for one’s community, as well as giving back—qualities the leaders of tomorrow most need. My children have thrived in this kind of school environment.

Students have the opportunity to participate in endless activities—sports, art, music, theater, community service, clubs and trips. They become natural public speakers because they have so many opportunities to speak and perform in front of their peers. As a result, Clairbourn students are well-educated, well-spoken, well-rounded, and well-prepared for high school.
Our fifth grader has developed a real love of history thanks to his fourth and fifth grade teachers. He has always loved coming to school, and he loves learning. All of his teachers have been experienced, creative, supportive, and devoted to their students’ success.
