My educational/professional background:
I have been in education for 30 years, 10 years as a preschool and kindergarten teacher and the past 20 years in administrative roles. Teaching led me to my true niche, administration, most especially admissions. I believe in life long learning and pursued my doctorate in Educational Leadership to enhance my skills. Last year I earned the Certificate for Admission and Enrollment Management Professionals (CAEP) to continue to build competencies in my role as an Enrollment Manager. I love introducing prospective families to Clairbourn and appreciate the help I receive from our wonderful, faculty, staff and parent ambassadors.
I choose to work at Clairbourn because:
I have always been familiar with the outstanding reputation of Clairbourn in the Pasadena area school community and was excited when the opportunity arose for the admissions position. I believe in the mission and philosophy of the school and am excited to be part of Creating Scholars and Leaders with Heart!
My favorite Clairbourn tradition is:
Morning Assembly, it's a beautiful expression of the school's philosophy!
What brings me joy is:
Hearing the happy sounds of children playing on the playground! My office is located where I see students walk by at all times during the day with the gingko trees as the background- the perfect distraction!
