"A Sacrifice Worth Making"
I’ve been at Clairbourn for 5 years. Before I came to Clairbourn, I attended a local public school for three years. When my parents first introduced the idea of private school, I was unsure about how to feel. All I knew was that I wanted to make new friends, but didn’t want to leave my old friends behind. But once I walked through the welcoming Clairbourn gate, I felt right at home.

But once I walked through the welcoming Clairbourn gate, I felt right at home.
I could never thank my wonderful parents enough for sacrificing everything to give my sister and me the opportunity to attend such an amazing school. Every day, they have driven us forty-five minutes to and from school and been completely selfless. I don’t know what I would have done without the support they have given me. I would also like to thank my wonderful teachers for making my Clairbourn experience the best it could possibly be.
Mrs. Taylor, thank you for teaching me good work habits and shaping me into a hard worker. Mrs. Corwin, thank you for always pushing me to do my best and making me the person I am today. Mrs. Berge, thank you so much for making math so much fun and for being the coolest person ever. Mrs. Kibbe, thank you for all the knee slappers in Science and for all the fun labs. Mrs. DeVasto, thank you for teaching me that sports aren’t all about winning…. I am so grateful for my Clairbourn community.
