Great Reputation
Clairbourn has a great reputation. It prepares our children academically very well—as evidenced by placing graduating students in the top high schools every year. Clairbourn is a tight knit community where parents are very involved in the Parent Association and close friendships are formed.
Also, the Clairbourn Speaker Series does a great job to challenge and inform parents and students on critical matters we face in our culture today, such as internet safety.

I love the Morning Assembly that Clairbourn requires every student to attend every morning. This is a great venue to discuss ethical and moral values that ring true no matter what faith you come from. Additionally, Clairbourn teaches our girls and boys to become ladies and gentlemen with a moral compass to become servant-leaders in their communities, higher education institutions, and workplace. Clairbourn is truly a well-rounded environment. The Morning Assembly also provides a great venue for children to practice public speaking as each child gets the opportunity to lead the Morning Assembly throughout the year starting from 1st grade.

Our oldest son spent nine valuable years here at Clairbourn (K-8th) and was accepted at Flintridge Preparatory School where he is now a rising Junior (Flintridge Prep is an academically rigorous institution with a highly selective criteria for admissions). Clairbourn prepared him very well, and he transitioned into Flintridge Prep very smoothly.

Reflecting on his time at Clairbourn, his recommendation to any student is that what you put into the school is what you get out of it. He was always a very dedicated student and was very interested in participating in the classroom and in many extracurricular opportunities offered by Clairbourn. Some of these were holding various officer positions on the Student Council including President in 8th grade. He was also given the opportunity to attend a National Leadership Training Course for three days with top students from all over the country to learn key attributes and characteristics of a leader. All these experiences taught him skill sets that are necessary in becoming successful in life.

All three of my sons have been so happy here and have made solid friendships for life. One frequent comment I get when I say that my kids go to Clairbourn is "Oh, all the kids from Clairbourn are so polite and kind."
