My educational/professional background:
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Principia College with an Illinois teaching credential. I also have a Master of Educational Technology degree from Concordia University. I have been teaching fourth grade at Clairbourn School since 2014.
I choose to teach at Clairbourn because:
I choose to teach at Clairbourn because of the wonderful community of dedicated teachers, kind students, supportive parents and encouraging faculty.
My favorite Clairbourn tradition is:
My favorite Clairbourn traditions are the entrepreneurial fair and the faculty vs volleyball team game. I also love the spirit of engineering week and the book fair. All of these events bring bright smiles to the children's faces.
What brings me joy is:
My family, my friends, live music, playing board games, playing or watching sports and the academic successes of my students bring me joy!
