Mrs. Karen Paciorek

My educational/professional background:
I have worked in the field of medicine with an AA degree in Allied Health. I have worked in the field of Psychology as a therapist and instructor with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Clinical Psychology. I earned my California Multiple-Subject clear teaching credential and taught 1st grade for 3 years before moving into administration with a Master's degree in Educational Administration. I have enjoyed 25 years (so far) of working at Clairbourn in a variety of positions from Daycare Supervisor, 1st Grade Teacher, Preschool Director, Director of Enrollment Management, and Lower School Director.

I choose to work at Clairbourn because:
I love the community, the philosophy, the environment, and the love of learning that is promoted every day.

My favorite Clairbourn tradition is:
Although it is hard to choose just one favorite, I very much love the Thanksgiving program because everyone has the opportunity to express their gratitude.

What brings me joy is:
Seeing all the faces of the students and parents as they enter the campus each day brings me joy.
