Summer Spree 2010 at Clairbourn School: Over 40 workshops are offered for students who want to expand their academic skills, develop their interests, or investigate new endeavors. Summer Spree 2010 is held on eight spacious acres with a heated pool, a computer lab, two science labs, and an enthusiastic faculty ready to provide an educational, challenging and fun-filled summer.

Campus supervision begins at 8:30 a.m. Classes for all grades begin at 9:00 a.m. Morning and Afternoon Daycare are available at an additional cost.
Enrollment information for Daycare is printed on the back of the Summer Spree Registration Form.
For safety reasons, basic understanding of the English language is required.

PRESCHOOL PROGRAM--------------------------------------------------------------------

Hours: 9:00 to 12:00
Cost: $700.00

(Child must be 3 years old by June 1, 2010 / Daycare not available. A mid-morning snack is provided.)

Clairbourn’s Preschool program for 3-4 year olds offers an atmosphere that stimulates learning and creates a feeling of confidence, making their first school experiences enjoyable and positive. Our preschool activites are designed to promote fine and gross motor development, coordination, and to encourage learning by
doing.

The contents of the  Preschool Program consists of social development, self-help skills, arts and crafts, music, science and social studies activites, and story time. There are also games, free play, and water play.

GETTING READY FOR KINDERGARTEN----------------------------------------------

Hours: 9:00 to 12:00
Cost: $700.00

(Child must be 5 years old by September 1, 2010 / Daycare not available. A mid-morning snack is provided.)

This program offers an exciting curriculum that strives to reach each and every child. Its theme-based, integrated program emphasizes kindness, friendliness, and working together. Hands-on, experiential activities lay the groundwork for future academic success in an atmosphere of relaxed learning and fun. Swimming once a week is included in the program at no extra cost.

GRADES 1 - 8------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hours: Attend anytime between 9:00 to 3:00*.
Cost: The rate is different for each class. (See Classes and Workshops below for class description and rates.)

Deposit: A deposit of $50 per class will hold a space in classes until May 22nd when the tuition balance is due in full.

Students entering grades 1 through 8 are offered a wide range of summer classes: art, math, writing, science, and sports to name a few. All classes are taught by teaching professionals with a love for their subject. The emphasis is on a high-quality academic experience in a fun and relaxed summer atmosphere.Lunch: A supervised lunch period is provided from 11:45-12:15 for students in grades 1 - 8 enrolled in both Block 3 and Block 4 classes.

*Children attending Summer Spree must be enrolled in a class or signed-up for daycare in order to remain on campus. Therefore, please schedule your child for sequential time-blocks of classes if you wish to have them remain on campus for a certain length of time.
