Alumnus Connected to the Bourne Family1940s alumnus Sylvia Pauloo visited our campus in April of 2016 with her daughter Julia and shared with Nancy Ward her childhood experiences. She fondly recalled her time at Clairbourn, calling it a "turning point" in her life. Her connections to the Bourne family was simply astounding. Her mother as Mary Green Pauloo, who taught music at Clairbourn for three years in the 1940s. Sylvia Pauloo knew the Bourne family well, as she was friends with Claire Bourne and Douglas Bourne and she even dated Stephen Bourne at one point. Her time was Clairbourn was enriching and full of unforgettable experiences.

Years 1971 to 2006 Are Now Available!As Clairbourn celebrates a remarkable milestone–90 years since its founding in 1926–it only makes sense that the school thinks back to its past. Yearbooks are a fond collection of everyone’s captured memories, and so the school has been working to digitize as many as possible to preserve those moments of the past. We are pleased to announce that 35 years of yearbooks are now available for viewing and downloading from the alumni website.
